Historic Police Station Conversion
Tai O Heritage Hotel occupies the former Tai O marine police station built in 1902, a Grade II historical building. The restoration preserved original features including cannons, searchlights, corner turrets, and jail cells. The nine rooms maintain the building's late 19th-century colonial character with modern amenities including flat-screen TVs, safety deposit boxes, and coffee machines.
